You can make a difference. Here's how.

Get involved right where you are

You don't need to travel to the other side of the world to see/experience need, break down barriers and begin to be part of the solution.  Right where you live, make an effort to look deeply at the available resources for solving the challenges in your community.  That includes you.  Through your faith community, your school, your club/civic organization or public office, be an advocate for positive change.  Working in your own "back yard" will help you gain the experience you need for service with integrity and will teach you the best ways to give.

Live like you mean it!

How we live and the choices we make for ourselves are the greatest indicator of our real values and intentions.  Tread lightly.  Step down. Consider "Other."  Don't buy stuff you don't need.  Reach out, not just in.  Get out of your comfort zone.  Make sacrifices.  Give of yourself and your resources. Include your family.  Consider how your choices affect the environment, other people and the whole world.

Donate To Africa Exchange

Your donation allows us to make connections in a part of the world that is critical for human survival.  Some of the last great indigenous cultures and unique environments are in Africa and we have much to learn.  These cultures carry the keys to their own survival - help us play our part in making sure local voices are heard, local wisdom is not forgotten, is utilized, is the foundation for development.

Here are a few of the ways your donation will help:

  • Provide locally produced, nutrient rich porridge as a daily meal for pre-school children in marginal environments
  • Enable rural people to access life-saving technologies that are tools for poverty reduction
  • Capacity building seminars with community leaders to assist them in determining their own development
  • Preservation of unique environments through education and the creation of alternative income mechanisms

Online donations are placed and processed through Network for Good.
