BTSR Mission Immersion Experience, 2010
This was our 10th year of hosting the Mission Immersion Experience in conjunction with Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond BTSR. Joined this year by Dr. Caleb Oladipo, professor of Global Christianity at BTSR, this team of seven explored several regions of Kenya in an effort to gain perspective on the breadth and scope of the challenges faced in the field of transformational development. From Baringo to Marich and the Mara, these students engaged community, listened to stories, offered friendship and held themselves open to the change that inevitably occurs as a result of such an experience.

A highlight of their experience was engaing members of the Sisit community to determine their needs with regard to clean water through a house to house survey spanning several days, conducted prior to the implementation of a comprehensive water project (see Water in Sisit ).
We look forward to the next MIE/ KUTANA offering in May of 2012!
