Passport Kenya, 2010

PASSPORTKenya embodies the essence of Kutana in a succinct, action-packed format.  Our longtime partner Passport, Inc. bring their years of experience and expertise in "youth camping with a mission" and we add the cross-cultural component through Kenyan youth participants and service-learning opportunities.

2010 was our 4th Passport Kenya experience which saw 32 youth from the USA join hands with 32 youth from Kenya during a fun-filled week of camp, service and environmental field experience. 

 

 

Without a doubt, the highlight of the week is "mission day" where youth engage communities in brief service learning activities that seek to break down barriers, remove stereotypes and provide ample opportunities for seeing the world in a different way. From activities with children to helping to construct fish ponds, campers join hands to make a difference in the world.
